However, the humid tropical climate and varied soil compositions create significant friction and corrosion risks for standard cable pulling equipment, necessitating tools with superior weather resistance.
The local market often struggles with inconsistent tool quality, where low-grade metal tools fail under the pressure of deep-trench installations. This has led to a growing demand for industrial-grade construction power tools that can withstand the high-torque requirements of Uganda's urban construction sites.
Furthermore, the transition from overhead lines to underground ducting in key commercial zones has increased the criticality of precision tools. The reliance on manual methods is being replaced by mechanical efficiency to reduce deployment time and labor costs in the metal tools manufacturing sector.
